The Top 7 Reasons to Hire a Real Estate Photographer These days, it's easy and quick for realtors to whip out their smart phones, snap a few photos of property for sale and upload them in the blink of an eye. There are even apps to make panoramic images and virtual tours. But sometimes there are challenges even those i-gagets can't tackle. Here are the top reasons you should hire a photographer to get more bites on your property:

1. Get More Attractive Photos Anyone can take photos and take them quickly. But if you want to avoid the overused realtor line "the pictures don't do it justice," then you need someone with a good eye and experience to emphasize and enhance the attractive qualities of your property.

2. Capture Tight Spaces

Bathrooms can be tough. Sometimes you might be able to get half of the sink and half of the shower, but getting a more complete picture of many bathrooms is next to impossible with consumer gear. The same goes for closets, laundry rooms and pantries. A good photographer will bring the proper lenses to get more of the space in the shot while still making your property attractive.

3. Eliminate Lighting Problems

One of the biggest issues with consumer cameras and smart phone cameras is an inability to handle a variety of lighting situations. Often windows in a room can either make a room look dark or make the window itself look like an intense flood light. Neither result is attractive or realistic. Good photographers can make the most of both their cameras and their photo editing skills to provide images that are pleasing to the eye.

4. Careful Composition A professional will know exactly what to put in the frame of each photo. This means leaving the appropriate amount of space around the subject or focal point of each photo. This also means making sure there aren't distracting objects present in the photo (a bag on a table, a door halfway open, a finger accidentally in the shot, a photographer in the mirror or reflection, the photographer's shadow, etc.). This also means making sure the photos are sharp, not blurry from shaky hands.

5. Photo Editing

Choose your photographer carefully. Make sure your photographer has photo editing skills as well. Photo editing is essential to further adjust the brightness and the vibrancy of the colors, adjust final framing, and make all of your property photos look consistent. A good photo editor can also go the extra mile by making enhancements, like adding green grass if the lawn is only recently seeded or sodded, removing unwanted items from shots and more.

6. Show Off the Details

There are always super-fine details that are hard to capture unless you see the property in person. But sometimes, photos can enhance the details and show off all of the fine touches in ways the human eye would likely miss. Pro photographers will capture all of those beautiful details with clarity.

7. Look Like a Professional

Cheap and quick pics can do more harm than good. Yes, bad photos can cause people to actually take properties out of consideration. But professional photos can get buyers excited before setting foot on your property. If you want your property to look nice and worth the price, then make sure the photos you use reflect that. Hiring a good photographer can add the high quality you need for your listings.

The bottom line is this: if you want to get more buyers looking at your property and if you want to put the "sold" signs out faster, contact Studio Roho today and let's talk about how we can help you make it happen!
